How It All Started
NativeNatureStep was born when a small group of runners and hikers in Sheridan, Wyoming made the switch to barefoot shoes — and never looked back. We noticed something remarkable: fewer injuries, better balance, and a deeper connection to the trails and streets we loved. But finding well-made barefoot shoes that actually looked good? That was another story entirely.
So we set out to curate our own collection. Over months of research, we partnered with trusted manufacturers and worked closely with biomechanics experts to source footwear that respects the natural shape and movement of the human foot. We offer a 30-day hassle-free return policy. If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return it within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Items must be in their original condition and packaging. Once we receive your return, refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method.

Most people are comfortable wearing them full-time within 4–6 weeks. This allows your feet, ankles, and calves to adapt to the natural movement pattern. Listen to your body — a little muscle soreness is normal, but sharp pain is not.

Yes, as long as your order has not yet been shipped. Please contact us as soon as possible at info@nativenaturestep.com and we'll do our best to accommodate your request. Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be modified, but you can still return it under our 30-day return policy.
Most of our shoes are machine-washable. Place them in a ShoeWash Bag (available in our accessories section) and wash on a gentle cycle at 30°C. Always air-dry your shoes — never use a tumble dryer or direct heat, as this can damage the materials. For water-resistant models, we recommend applying a PFC-free waterproofing spray before the first wet wear to maintain the coating. Regular brushing with a soft brush will keep the uppers looking fresh.

NativeNatureStep ships from our fulfilment centre to customers across Europe. We offer two shipping options to suit your needs:
Standard Shipping
Delivery within 5–10 business days. The cost is €4.90 per order, or free on all orders over €50.
Express Shipping
Delivery within 2–4 business days. The cost is €9.90 per order.
Order Processing
Orders placed before 2:00 PM MT (Mountain Time) on business days are processed and dispatched the same day. Orders placed after this cut-off or on weekends and public holidays will be processed the next business day.
Tracking
A tracking number will be emailed to you as soon as your order is dispatched. You can use this number to follow your parcel in real time via the carrier's website.
Customs & Import Duties
Depending on your country, your order may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or other fees levied by the destination country. These charges are the buyer's responsibility and are not included in the product price or shipping cost. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)
Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason. To exercise this right, you must inform us of your decision by sending a clear statement (e.g., by email to info@nativenaturestep.com) before the 14-day period expires. We will reimburse all payments received from you, including standard delivery costs, within 14 days of receiving the returned goods. You will bear the direct cost of return shipping.
30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee
We want you to love your barefoot shoes. If for any reason you're not completely satisfied, you may return your purchase within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Indoor wear is perfectly fine during the trial period — we understand you need to test them properly. However, shoes that show signs of outdoor wear or soiling cannot be accepted for return.
Return Conditions
- Items must be returned in their original packaging with all tags attached.
- Proof of purchase (order confirmation email or receipt) is required.
- Care products and accessories (e.g., waterproofing spray, ShoeWash Bags) must be unopened and sealed to qualify for a return.
